Hi! I’m Lauren
Tech leader turned coach and mom of two
Hello! You’re in the right place
Hi, I'm Lauren: a career & life coach who helps women and parents create the career and life they want.
After 15+ years in tech and corporate (most recently as a Marketing Director at Affirm), I became a coach when I realized the best part of my job was coaching my team.
But before that, I spent most of my career ignoring the voice in my head that said I was “meant for more.”
I over-worked and over-achieved to silence that voice, convinced I’d find fulfillment and happiness just around the corner at the next career milestone.
Spoiler alert: I never found it there.
But I did work my way into deep, deep burnout.
I finally listened to that voice
After my first son was born and my dad died suddenly (right before pandemic lockdown), I couldn’t pretend anymore.
I finally did the deep work I’d been avoiding my whole career and it completely changed my life.
I learned I was trying to answer the wrong question.
I was so disconnected from myself I had no idea what made me happy.
I didn’t trust myself to know what I actually wanted.
And I definitely didn’t believe I could make it happen.
The answer is inside of us
I thought I’d answered the important questions when I decided to become a coach.
But that was only the beginning.
It took me 3+ years of coaching, therapy, research, and experimentation to really figure it out.
I stopped asking “what’s next?” or “how do I get there?”
And got to work becoming the best version of me.
The version of me who can figure it out and make it happen every time the questions come up (because this won’t be the last time I ask those questions).
I’ve never felt more energized in my career or content in my life - and I want this for you.
My “why” is helping women and parents like you do the same thing - but more quickly and easily :)
What I do when I’m not coaching
I live in San Francisco with my husband Anish and our two young sons.
I love spending time outside - running, hiking, and exploring new neighborhoods (and playgrounds!) I’m a voracious reader, healthy baker, and fiber enthusiast.
Before coaching, I spent 15 years in strategy, client success, and marketing at small startups up through large companies (Affirm, Citibank, CEB/Gartner). I have an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Duke University.
I grew up in New Jersey and miss the East Coast dearly, though I do love SF’s year-round outdoor weather.
